TATA has garnered the 6th place globally as far as brand reputations go, but in my book it gets 3000 points less. Exactly 3000, because that's the amount of Rs. TATA Telecom owes me. They had taken this amount to offer a V DATA CARD, but since i just then went out of job etc., and was not able to furnish adequate proof of permanenet residence - we are staying on rent presently - they could not offer me a connection and said they would return my money back. After repeated requests they still haven't done so and any phonecall to customer care center only elicits "other" phone nos. that i need to contact which get me nothing but another phone no. that i need to contact and so on. this has been going on for more than a year now. So, I refuse to acknowledge TATA as brand no. 6 untill i get my 3000 back. BTW: Why doesn't TATA manage its separate departments internally, and not make me call different nos. pillar to post. ACtually since i am their potential customer they should be chasing me to help me and not the other way round.
